Thank you for entering 13 1/4th or 13 1/2 Potomac River Run Marathon & Half --

o Saturday, November 19, at 10:00 AM - Half Marathon only

o Sunday, November 20, at 7:00 AM, 8:00 AM, or 9:00 AM - Half Marathon & Full Marathon

This message is the first of several that I shall send this week in the days leading up to our races.

Today, to our registration pages, I added two options:

o Reserve a seat on a Red Top Cab from Key Bridge Marriott, 1401 Lee Highway, Arlington VA 22209, to Carderock, leaving on Saturday, November 19, at 9:00 AM, or Sunday, November 20, at 7:00 AM ($10)

o Reserve a seat at our pre-race dinner on Saturday, November 19, at Cosi Restaurant, 1801 Fort Myer Drive, Arlington VA 22209, featuring Gib Leonard of Buy A Brick Foundation and his twice=yearly progress report ($15)

We invite you to assist with goodie bag assembly on Thursday, November 17, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at Walter Reed Community Center, 2909 16th Street South (corner of Walter Reed Drive), Arlington VA 22204. Please help us assemble 400 goodie bags and receive your goodie bag, bib number, t-shirt, and BPA-free folding water bottle early -- beat the rush!

Packet pickup continues on Friday, November 18, and Saturday, November 19, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, at Pacers Running Store, 3100 Clarendon Boulevard, Arlington VA 22201, across from Clarendon Metro Station (Orange and Silver Lines). Free parking for 90 minutes is available under Trader Joes at 1200 North Garfield Street. Arlington VA 22201. Take the elevator or walk up the stairs, buy something, and get your free parking coupon validated. You can also get a free three-ounce cup of really good coffee and a free snack sample in the back of the store.
