Welcome! Join Olympic Trials participant / USA ultramarathon champion Michael Wardian and his family at a celebration for Kinhaven School at beautiful Bluemont Park along the Four Mile Run creek.

Course: The USATF-certified course (VA08016RT) is entirely on a paved 12'-foot-wide multiple use trail with no road crossings. The out'n'back course is slightly uphill going out and slightly downhill coming back. We share the trail with other users. Please be courteous to other trail users including other runners, strollers, and bicycles, and please always stay to the right.

Directions: From Arlington Boulevard (Route 50), turn north on Manchester Street and continue till it ends at 4th Street North. Turn into the parking lot there. If that parking lot is full, turn left on 4th Street North, right on North Montague Street, right on 4th Road North or 5th Street North, and left on North Manchester Street to park at Bluemont Park North Shelter. Alternatively, pass Bluemont Park North Shelter, turn left at 8th Road North, and park at Ashlawn School.

Scoring: The old-fashioned method -- tear-off tags from the bottom of your bib number. Please do not remove the tear-off tag from the bottom of your bib number until after the race.

Awards: Top 3 M/F overall and top 3 in these age groups: 19 & under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & over

Special awards: 1st finisher in regular shoes; 1st finisher barefoot or wearing FiveFinger-type shoes; 1st finisher pushing a baby stroller

Limit: First 300 entrants
