| Course: |
The USATF-certified course (VA08016RT) is entirely on a paved 12'-foot-wide multiple use trail with no road crossings. The out'n'back course is slightly uphill going out and slightly downhill coming back. We share the trail with other users. Please be courteous to other trail users including other runners, strollers, and bicycles, and please always stay to the right. |
| Directions: |
From Arlington Boulevard (Route 50), turn north on Manchester Street and continue till it ends at 4th Street North. Turn into the parking lot there. If that parking lot is full, turn left on 4th Street North, right on North Montague Street, right on 4th Road North or 5th Street North, and left on North Manchester Street to park at Bluemont Park North Shelter. Alternatively, pass Bluemont Park North Shelter, turn left at 8th Road North, and park at Ashlawn School. |
