Thank you for entering Run 4 Your Mom Mother's Day Four Mile on Sunday, May 14, starting at 10:00 AM at Fletcher's Cove, 4940 Canal Road, Washington DC, about 2 miles west of Key Bridge, about 1 mile east of Chain Bridge. We currently have only one mother-daughter team no mother-son teams one run-with-your-dog team Judging from the names of the entrants, I am sure more of your are mother-daughter, mother-son, and run-with-your-dog teammates. If you want to be on a team, please send me (by e-mail RACEDIRECTOR@ATT.NET) the name of the mother and the name of the son, daughter, or both. Since mothers can have both daughters and sons, a mother can be on both a mother-daughter team and a mother-son team. Also send me the name of your dog, if any. I'd be grateful for that data tonight, if you get this message. Fletcher's Cove is open to the public 24-7. Enter via the ramp downhill off Canal Road, passing white brick Abner Cloud House, one of the oldest buildings in DC. Parking is on-site, ample, and free. We have 85 spaces on the left near Abner Cloud House and 300 more spaces through the tunnel on the right and down by Potomac River. Packet pick-up is open 9:15 AM to 9:45 AM at the picnic tables near the boathouse and the riverside parking area. We do accept race-day registrations for $40, $30 without a t-shirt. As a pre-registrant, you receive an Asics t-shirt, a great goodie bag with a bottle of bubbles, and your bib number. Please wear your bib number visibly on the front of your shirt, not obscured in any way, and please leave the name tag intact at the bottom of your bib number, so we can collect it at the finish line to establish the order of finish. Please do not remove the name tag at the bottom of your bib number. We provide white plastic bags for secure storage of personal belongings. Please mark your bib number on the outside of your white plastic bag. Please, no backpacks or duffel bags.
